...in Suspender Stockings!
Bras, Knickers and Stockings
A surprisingly clear screencap of The Dream Girls on The James Whale Radio Show (1991). So far as we can tell, they only made three appearances on TV (rather a pity, considering how good their act was), though we'd be more than willing to be proven wrong on that account.
So, quadruplets are usually defined as four children born from the same mother at the same time (generally identical in appearance). Here we have the aptly named Quaid girls taking a candid selfie on their eighteenth birthday...
...followed by the exact same four; washed, scrubbed and blow-dried for their boudoir shoot (and wearing as little as their Mom will allow). Amazing how a touch of lipstick and gloss can change your entire outlook, isn't it? :)

So anyway, we decided to put the QQ AI through its paces, starting with a couple of illustrations from way back. First, we fed a pencil/watercolor piece through the system and were appropriately stunned by the results:

We then tried out a traditional pen and ink cartoon, to see how it would interpret simple B&W line-work:

Yes, Maria La O returns with another rendition of "Marina, Marina" for her legions of adoring fans. The clip is basically a replay of this earlier striptease, except that this time she's wearing suspenders to complement her black designer lingerie.
Following a long day at the office, the very first thing a girl wants to do is strip down to her knickers and model her sexy black garters in the mirror...
You can watch the performance on youtube (no age filter for this one), the girls disrobe around 08:23. We counted nine girls in black lingerie with matching thigh-highs (spoiler: the blonde's wearing red).
Not sure of the specifics, but so far as we can tell, Clara's Q&A Challenge is a strip game with all of the usual benefits. As the contestants appear to be Clara's closest gal pals, it's easy to understand why her YT Account is subtitled the "BFF Lounge."
How Clara convinced her BFFs to strip down at their local pub is a mystery in itself, though given the popularity of her Youtube Channel, they probably didn't need much coaxing (especially after the first few pints). Worth noting, of course, that the girls wore their prettiest lingerie for the occasion, meaning they knew precisely what they getting in to.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xY57fZ07R0UYes, that's right: as of 13 August, 2022, we've reached a grand total of 200,285 views - and the numbers continue to rise! Even more unbelievable: according to our stats, we scored more than 100,000 views within the last twelve months alone!
What does all this mean? OK, let's try to put it into some kind of perspective. We established this blog waaaay back in May 2010, mainly as a database for lingerie scenes on film and TV. Following a couple of false starts, we bumbled along with a few hundred visits per month for the first eleven years (more or less the average for a niche blog like this), then suddenly our ratings shot through the ceiling.
What happened? None of us know for sure. The change came directly out of left field, catching all of us by surprise. We noticed a huge influx from Europe (particularly France) as well as a steady climb in Canada and the US, but we've yet to figure out how the digital landscape changed in such a short span of time. On the other hand, we have a few clues with might point us in the right direction.
First, there's Benny Hill. Benny has always been a perennial favorite on this site, with this post amassing 5047 views on its own. Seems that there's still a huge audience out there, thirty years after the great man's passing, and it's no secret that Benny's "silent comedies" appeal to a vast demographic on both sides of the Atlantic. Just goes to prove that some forms of humor transcend language and cultural barriers (especially when there are bras, knickers and beautiful young women involved). At present, we have no less than thirteen articles devoted to Benny's girls, and people simply can't get enough.
Another contributing factor might be diversity. Variety being the spice of life, we wanted to explore visual media of every conceivable form: film and TV, comics and cartoons, manga and anime; literally anything we could find in the uncharted corners of the Web (how did we ever survive without the internet?).
Maria shows us her lacy black lingerie in this short clip from Colpo Grosso. Maria La O was an obvious fan favorite from the very start, giving the impression that she honestly enjoyed herself (even when lip-syncing to a song she clearly didn't know the words to). She's known to have performed "Marina, Marina" at least twice on the show; we'll post the second clip when we manage to track it down.
Bus Stop is the closing tag of The Benny Hill Show Episode 27 (March 24, 1976). Playing a stereotype "silly old duffer," Benny sneezes his way through one catastrophe after another, first blowing away a civil servant's (Henry McGee) newspaper before disrobing an attractive young brunette. A chase immediately ensues, with Duffo blowing away a tent (revealing two young campers in their underwear), felling a tree (provoking lumberjack Bob Todd to take after him with an axe) and demolishing a smoke stack before finally setting off a nuclear blast in the middle of London.
This sketch is about as silly as they come, but well worth a look all the same. Grandpa is pleasantly surprised (to say the least) when Grandma invites Las Temibles over to sing "happy birthday:"
If we're reading the translation correctly, Las Temibles were an Argentine girl-group that made it big on Peruvian TV during the late 80s. While their repertoire was largely musical, they were also accomplished comedic actresses, appearing in numerous variety shows until they found a home on Risa y Salsa (Panamericana Televisión, 1980-1999). As a general rule, "The Fearsome Ones" usually wore skimpy outfits, they occasionally stripped down to their lenceria on special occasions (as suggested in the vid-clip posted above).
As the late Seventies drew to its inevitable conclusion, Benny Hill found himself up against some rather tough competition, particularly from Messrs Barker & Corbett, alias The Two Ronnies. Overwhelmingly popular during their decade-spanning career, the Ronnies' humor was largely based on word play and spoonerisms, though they weren't above "borrowing" from Benny's tried-and-true blend of smutty innuendo and gratuitous lingerie shots. On a few occasions, the two programs seemed to share the same blackout gags, all the way down to the color of the starlets' underwear:
More Baile de la seducción from Vamos Con Todo, featuring the lovely Paloma Fiuza (circa 2010). In common with Kathyrn Arbenz, she seems to have been a regular on Ecuadorian television and variety shows.
Pulp magazines (often referred to as "the pulps") were inexpensive magazines that were published from 1896 to the late 1950s. The term "pulp" derives from the cheap wood pulp paper on which the magazines were printed. In contrast, magazines printed on higher-quality paper were called "glossies" or "slicks." The typical pulp magazine had 128 pages; it was 7 inches (18 cm) wide by 10 inches (25 cm) high, and 0.5 inches (1.3 cm) thick, with ragged, untrimmed edges.
The pulps gave rise to the term pulp fiction in reference to run-of-the-mill, low-quality literature. Pulps were the successors to the penny dreadfuls, dime novels, and short-fiction magazines of the 19th century. Although many respected writers wrote for pulps, the magazines were best known for their lurid, exploitative, and sensational subject matter, especially those of the "spicy" variety.
While held in low regard at the time of of publication, "spicy pulp" cover paintings are now considered exceptional pieces of American pop culture and are keenly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike.

"MATCHING BRA AND PANTIES with Her Initial!" And to think we could see advertisements of this kind in virtually any newspaper back in the day. Meanwhile, on the other side of the Atlantic...
"I can't wait to get into them!" Odd that an ad for Slimma Slack & Skirts would feature a girl in her bra and knickers, but then again, we're talking about the British tabloids here...
