It's way back to the first season premier of WK in Lingerie: "June and July 2006 will go down in history as the season of football, women and Veronica (loose google translation)." Short as the vid-clip was, they pulled out all the stops in their marketing campaign, briefly show the girls stripping to their bras and knickers before a crown of ravenous spectators. Apologies for the low-res vid-clip, would love to see a better quality version.
We've said it before and we'll say it again: those wily Brazilians sure know how to throw a party! The celebrations started with Festa Do Mallandro (1997-2002), setting standards that have rarely been surpassed over the past two decades.
It's unfortunate that the series isn't available online, as judging by surviving footage, it was literally packed with beautiful young chicas falling out of their clothes at a moment's notice.
According to pt.Wikipedia the "Stage Assistants" initially wore ornate costumes in keeping with the show's carnival atmosphere. At some point, however, more revealing outfits began to appear, with some of the Mallandrinhas donning two-piece bikinis and skin-tight body suits. The turning point came when Érica Vieira performed her dance number in a lacy black corset complete with adjustable suspender stockings.

And now for the semi final. Broadcasting around 2018, Telefe Internacional provided the following synopsis for the segment (liberally translated from the regional Spanish):
In this latest installment of La Chica 10, the sexiest girls in Argentina parade their bodies before a panel of drooling perverts experts. The jury then decides which contestant goes onto to the grand final (spoiler warning: the winner was Andrea Estevez).
For some totally inexplicable reason, the summary didn't mention that the girls were stripping down to their underwear before a studio audience, but I guess that a few things can just be taken for granted:

All right: episodes of the classic 90s Japanese comedy Miniskirt Police (ミニスカポリス) are a little difficult to locate in the present day, but we managed to track down a few VHS transfers on YouTube, Niconico and similar online venues. "Minisuka" has an almost legendary status in its country of origin, the kind of show which defies description even in its native language.
The basic premise seems to involve two bumbling police constables enticing pretty young starlets out of their clothing (there's also something about a deranged stage magician, but we haven't quite figured that part out yet).
Most of the humor revolved around scantily-clad models being humiliated in their lingerie (kind of like Naughty and Funny except without the hidden cameras). Scripts usually required at least one girl to be stripped down to her bra and knickers by the end of each episode, sometimes more depending on whether the eponymous WPCs were taking part in the festivities.
The original series ran from 1996 to 2001, followed by a number of revivals between 2003 and 2006. The most recent update, launched in August 2013, is considerably less explicit and replaces the main cast with an all-girl pop group, following current trends in Japanese entertainment.

Yes, it's time for another visit to Argentina, where the panties and stockings go on display before an internacional audience. These two clips seem to be part of a grand finale, where the girls compete before a "select committee." Kind of begs the question of precisely what the winner receives, apart from a standing ovation and the honor of revealing her bra and knickers on stage...
Even when they're broadcasting from the United States, our Mexican compadres still find a way to sneak a few gratuitous stripteases into the broadcasting schedule, as ably demonstrated by Sergio Veruzco in his red-light comedy Nights With Platanito.
Each week, a pair of lucky young chicas were chosen to shed their inhibitions in The Frisby Challenge - basically two random dudes throwing frisbies at a plastic target. Not exactly must-see TV, until you notice that whenever a disk hits the mark, one of the girls removes an article of clothing :)
Noches con Platanito ran for 25 seasons between 2013 and 2020. Though not quite as 'spicy' as its hispanic counterparts, the show always featured stunningly beautiful starlets in designer lingerie. We also had the spectacle of a clearly drunken Sergio (dressed as a clown who'd give Pennywise nightmares), spurring the contestants on with shots of tequila whenever the frisbies didn't fly straight.
It's been five long years since the last coin toss, and I still can't figure out why WK in Lingerie never caught on. I mean, who in their right mind wouldn't want to see dozens of beautiful young women running around in their underwear??
The girls from La Chica Videomatch are back, this time decked out in school uniforms. Unfortunately, the host still hasn't learnt to keep his mouth shut, insisting on interrupting at least four sensational dance routines with his inane commentary:

Colpo Grosso, aka The Big Win, was the most popular game show of the decade, with an international audience numbering in the millions. As mentioned elsewhere, viewers tuned in to see which lucky starlet would be revealing her bra and knickers to the cameras (with the added bonus of an All-Girl Striptease if everything went according to plan).
Those ingenious Argentinians have found yet another way to separate beautiful young chicas from their clothing. In Casino Poker, the girls play against the house, using their clothes for bargaining chips. Every time they lose a hand, they trade a piece of clothing for extra credit to keep on playing. It virtually goes without saying that the 'bank' always wins out in the end :)
